Happy with the beautiful design and large size. Most electric kettles have smaller capacity. However, my previous Krups was faster. It takes a little too long to automatically shut-off from the time the water is boiling and I sometimes turn it off myself. It also takes longer than my old Krups to boil water (manufacturer says 1 minute per cup). On the other hand, the outside heats a lot less than other stainless steal kettles, and because of the design, you're less likely to get burned. The cord is long enough, but I don't worry about it because it's attached to the base, not to the kettle itself. Easy opening the lead (just press the top button), and the filter seems easy enough to replace. I would have given it 5 stars if it was heating and shutting off faster, but overall, I'm very happy with the product.

Nice build Kette.Looks nice in the kitchen. That's all I can say positive about it.
When buying it I was concern about the two plastic inserts you can watch the water lewel through. Unfortunatelly I was right.
After 5 days of usinig this kettle I decided to return it to the store. That water taste is not acceptable.
It won't go away. Therefore this product is useless. Your tea will get this plastic, ugly taste and smell. I should read
others opinions. Please avoid this product.

I tried everything within reason to get rid of the awful smell and foul taste to no avail. I returned it to Target after a month of effort.
