Braun Multi Toaster delivers against the following key features: Convenience, Design, Safety, Performance & Versitilty

Amazon.com Review

Long and sleek, this toaster from Braun's Impressions design collection features a cool-touch exterior of brushed stainless steel. The toaster's single 10-by-1-1/2-inch slot holds two slices of regular size bread or one over-sized slice from a broad focaccia or round bakery loaf. For heating up rolls, croissants, and other bulky items such as taco shells, a wire warming rack is included that fits securely on top of the toaster.

Intuitive to use, the toaster features all the most important aspects of toasting, such as a variable-setting browning control knob (with seven quick-reference settings), extra-high lift to make it easy to remove small pieces of toast, bright red 'on' light, and defrost, reheat, and stop functions. A small bread-roll icon on the control knob indicates where to set the dial when using the warming rack. For crumb removal a tray slides out the back, and the 40-inch cord wraps neatly underneath for storage. Measuring 8 by 17 by 6-1/2 inches, the toaster wipes clean with a damp sponge and is covered by a one-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Since This is only the 2nd toaster I have owned I guess I can't really say I'm a toaster expert. I can say however, that I love the long narrow toaster, it is long, but much easier to put sideways against a wall/side counter than have this bulky square thing, that takes up much more counter space (like my old one). This thing also looks great, and you can fit really thick bread in it, and it toasts wonderfully(very even). I bought mine for $35 at Tuesday Mornings, so you may want to check that out.

I have no complaints with this toaster other than it is a little larger than I expected. The performance is reliable and you won't be surprised about the outcome of your toast from day to day. I like this toaster and would recommend it as long as you have counterspace to sacrifice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best little toaster on the planet, January 22, 2007

My husband hated our "new" Cuisanart toaster. He longed for the day I'd bring down the Rowenta, made in West Germany, from the attic. Upon a visit to a friend's condo, we were marveling at his new upscale kitchen, and the Braun toaster caught his eye. He was totally enamored on looks alone. When he heard how easy it was to use, how perfect the toast was every time, and that it was cool to the touch (a feature of the Rowenta as well), I knew a match had been made in kitchen heaven. And, the best part was I found it on Amazon! This toaster has lived up to all its hype. It truly is the best little toaster on the planet.
