We’ve added a stay-cool, easy-grip handle for easy and comfortable use. Chantal uses boiler enamel on the interior of all its enameled teakettles. This is a great teakettle. I like the color and the shape. It is easy to fill with water and it has a good loud whistle. It does not leak water when pouring into a cup. The inside has a pretty dark blue coating (I think it's enamel) that is very easy to clean. This is my second Chantal teakettle. They are very durable and have never chipped or corroded.
