After reading reviews on Amazon while looking for a new teapot, I realized I wasn't the only one who had issues with a teapot leaking or dribbling while pouring. Happily, this one does great! It holds mor than you'd think. It can easily hold 3-4 cups of tea or 2 large coffee mug sized cups. The warmer keeps it warm--not hot. If the pot is very full, just place your finger on the lid and pour slowly and dribbling won't be an issue. The shape of the pot make it a bit tough to clean by hand, but a sponge wand cleans it out very well. The set also has a cool European look to it. Overall, highly recommend!
The teapot is defective but I'm ordering a replacement,

The item is beautiful and functional, however, the first time I tried to make my tea, the teapot cracked all around - hairline invisible cracks. I am disappointed as usually the German stuff is usually of great quality. This was actually the reason I ordered the teapot. I hope that the second one will withstand the hot water.

The teapot set is adorable. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is to be a Christmas present for my Mom. I will never get the chance to give it away though. Due to poor packaging, I received a broken teapot. The handle was not attached. Shards of porcelain everywhere. The warmer, teapot, and lid were all loosely bubble-wrapped inside of a broken box, then placed inside a much larger box. It's a wonder there were no other broken pieces.
If you don't mind taking the risk of receiving a broken item, go ahead and order this. I hope you have better luck with the packaging. Also, it looks like it would work as it is supposed to and it comes with one tea light for the warmer. Again, I would love this if it wasn't broken.
