Summary: Self Destructs! 2009-01-05
Comment: The kettle is beautiful, however, if the lid is not on snugly the whistle does not whistle. When that happens, the plastic whistle armature melts and deforms, game over. I am ordering a kettle with either an all metal whistle or no lid now.
