Copco Midori Enamel-on-Steel Teakettle

This teakettle is not really 17 quarts, but you probably knew that. It's 1.7 quarts, which is not very big. It's a very pretty kettle, but I do miss having a whistle. You really have to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't boil dry! I even set a timer when I put it on to boil. It does seem to be well made for the price and is easy to pour out of.

I searched high and low for a stylish-yet-traditional kettle and finally decided on this one. It's the perfect size, in my opinion, but we only ever make a few cups at a time. I love the aesthetic of this kettle most, but it does the job as well as any, and I don't miss the whistle. I can hear it when it boils anyway, but I'm never that far away, I suppose. In any case, I think it's perfectly lovely, especially for the price.

This is a really fantastic teakettle. The smooth large bottom is great for my ceramic top range. It heats quickly, has a sleek, classy appearance, and gives plenty of room to give easy access to the lid. The handle covering protects you from any burns. It's a real winner!
