This review is from: Copco Midori Enamel on Steel 1.7 Quart Teakettle, Green (Kitchen) This teakettle is not really 17 quarts, but you probably knew that. It's 1.7 quarts, which is not very big. It's a very pretty kettle, but I do miss having a whistle. You really have to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't boil dry! I even set a timer when I put it on to boil. It does seem to be well made for the price and is easy to pour out of. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By Jill (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Copco Midori Enamel on Steel 1.7 Quart Teakettle, Green (Kitchen) I searched high and low for a stylish-yet-traditional kettle and finally decided on this one. It's the perfect size, in my opinion, but we only ever make a few cups at a time. I love the aesthetic of this kettle most, but it does the job as well as any, and I don't miss the whistle. I can hear it when it boils anyway, but I'm never that far away, I suppose. In any case, I think it's perfectly lovely, especially for the price. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Charlie (Beverly, West Virginia) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Copco Midori Enamel on Steel 1.7-Quart Teakettle, Black (Kitchen) This is a really fantastic teakettle. The smooth large bottom is great for my ceramic top range. It heats quickly, has a sleek, classy appearance, and gives plenty of room to give easy access to the lid. The handle covering protects you from any burns. It's a real winner! |
