I liked how this teakettle looked. It did take a little while to figure out how to flip up the whistling cap and keep it up. (As a side note, the whistle is very soft until it's almost ready to boil over). My problem is that the enamel on the bottom is chipping horribly and worsens every time I use it. So, I'm in the market for a new kettle already.

i received it to give as a gift on my sister's special day
but was dissappionted to see its broken handle
i returned it immediately saying that iam refusing the shipment
it doesnot look as sturdy as it looks in picture
i willn't recommend it

I don't think it's broken,

I see other people have gotten this and thought it was broken. I thought mine was, too, but I think it's actually just really poorly made. The button on the top flips the whistle-part up, but you have to manually flip it back down by pressing on that whistle part. Sometimes when you flip it down, it snaps back into place, but sometimes it doesn't go back all the way. I tried to force it down, but it just pops back up again, and the whistle doesn't work with it open like that. I looked at it, and nothing appeared broken. I gave up and returned it.
