This is a beautiful teakettle that I always kept out on the stove and served its purpose for about a year. The main problem I have is that the lid chips easily and the inside started rusting. Since I'm not sure of the consistency of the metal alloy behind the coating I'm not so sure I want to be making tea from this anymore.
