Creative Home Aero Metallic Tea Kettles

Comment: I always read the best and worst reviews of a product before I purchase. This time I should have believed the worst. The kettle handle smells awful every time its heated up. It's difficult to completely empty it. The instructions tell you it will rust out if you don't do this. I always try to empty the kettle completely after each use, but I never dried it off. I've had the kettle for 3 weeks and the bottom (underside) has already started to rust. I have a range with cast iron grates so I'm sure that contributes to it, but I've always stored my kettles on the stove and never had this problem before. I've already purchased a replacement that is fully enameled. This kettle is going to Goodwill, as I have already pitched the box so i won't return it. It's not worth 1 star.

Comment: boils water quickly and efficently. Originally bought this for my sister for Christmas, and ended up purchasing one for myself! Super georgeous green on the exterior, and stainless inside.

Comment: My old tea kittle had gotten too heavy (since rheumatoid disease), and I needed a different type or style. This one is very ergonomic and light. It is quite easy to pour without getting a steam burn. Good product.

Comment: The 'smoke' coating on the outside of the kettle is some sort of plastic. It will start to singe, turn brown, and stink up the kitchen unless you keep the stove under a "medium" heat level. It also rusts very easily on the inside.

But, it's a very nice looking tea kettle and with patience, it does its job, whistle and all. If you really need a tea kettle this will work, but if you can wait, I'd save up some money for a heavy duty kettle without the plastic.

Comment: Creative Home Aero Metallic 2.5 Quart Whistling Tea Kettle, Emerald Green is very nice looking, but the packaging scratched the exterior in shipping. Creative Home should really consider a better way to package this product. Overall it works as designed. Filling through the spout is difficult and the handle seem flimsy and flex's when the kettle is filled with water.
