Whistling Tea Kettle,

I was thrilled to receive my kettle from Amazon really quickly - long before I expected. It was disappointing to find a small piece of paper inside the packaging telling me what would have been really good information to have to enable me to make an informed purchase. ....Like "make sure that the kettle has no water left inside. This will prevent any possibility of rust appearing"
Also, when wiping the outside of the kettle - with a hot cloth - purple is coming off.
I love the idea of this kettle but I wouldn't have purchased it had I known all the information.
BTW...it took about a week to have little "almost rust" spots show up...and we tried to empty it every time.

The colour on this kettle is breathtaking but it doesn't last long enough to enjoy if you have a gas stove.
Anything heating beside it immediately turns the colour and the scorching shows through.

I love the color of the tea kettle. But after a couple uses the cover of the spout broke off and the kettle no longer whistles.
