I purchased this 2.0 Qt. Cuisinart Artiste(tm) Stainless Kettle, but when it arrived, the whistle barely worked. A fluke I thought, because I have several Cuisinart products that I love - so I ordered a second one (same model) to replace it, and the second one won't whistle at all! This is essentially a safety issue and really unacceptable.

In addition, I find that holding the sliding switch to keep the lid open while poring difficult, and holding the switch combined with the angle of handle means you have to twist your hand completely upside down to pour. This is at best awkward, but with arthritis it is painful. This teakettle is a huge disappointment.
