Mrs.Spudman had been steaming about the teakettle she'd just bought, the teakettle that barely whistled. After choosing and saving two choices on Amazon, I learned that Mrs. Spudman had beaten me to the punch and bought this Farberware stainless steel 2.5 quart whistling teakettle.
On a positive note: The whistle is loud enough to hear in the next room. Its stainless steel design is attractive. This review is from: Farberware Classic 2 Quart Steel Teakettle, Stainless (Kitchen) It works pretty well, cleans easily, good size for the amount of tea I want to make. I sometimes have a hard time getting the spout cap to open when pressing the lever; maybe because it's still new or I'm a weakling. But for the price I think it's a good product. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By WH7QQ (Hawaii) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Farberware Classic 2 Quart Steel Teakettle, Stainless (Kitchen) Very nice kettle...looks nice, pours without drips, handle stays cool but NO whistle. That isn't a big deal for us so we won't be returning it, but if you need the whistle, this may not be for you. |
