King of England from 1509 until his death in 1547. A significant figure in English monarch history, he is known for suppressing the Protestant Reformation in England. Eventually, he established himself as the Supreme Head of the Church of England. His heirs include Edwards VI, Elizabeth I, and Mary I. He is also noted for having six wives - two of which were beheaded. His primary tactic for dealing with those who stood in his way was execution.
