This tea brewer is awesome, never had any problems with particulates or cleaning, I'd recommend this brewer to anyone using loose tea more than once a day. It's very easy to use. my one complaint is that the lid is a little cheap, and doesn't hold the leaves back real well when pouring a cup. Spend a little more, its worth it
