As good as today's toasters get,

Toasters have not been manufactured in the USA since the 1990's. Most are made in China and quality control is spotty at best. That being said, after a year long search, our family has concluded that this toaster is the best one out there, even when compared to $100+ models. Yes its plastic, but its durable and cute. It doesn't have bells and whistles, but it runs consistently. Most importantly, it toasts bread of varying sizes and shapes evenly and in a timely manner. Oversized bagels might be a tight squeeze but otherwise you can't do much better toasting bread than this toaster. Also, if you need to toast 4 items at once, I'd buy 2 of these less expensive toasters, rather than 1 inferior, expensive 4 slot model.

This is a great, stylish toaster at a good price. Perfect for small kitchens as it is a small rounded size -very cute! Stylish design & colors (red to match my kitchen but it comes in other colors too!) Has defrost, cancel, warm, temperature buttons plus a pop up rack for warming. I love this toaster!

It's a really cute toaster, and works very well.
My big problem is that it only fits standard size bread pieces.
I have a family member who loves sourdough french bread, which extends a bit beyond the standard size.
This toaster leaves a bit on the end uncooked.
The toaster never claimed it could handle bigger than standard size bread, so it's probably unfair for me to whine about.
Still, I thought mentioning it might help other potential purchasers to realize the limitation.
