KitchenAid Teakettle 2-Quart Stainless Steel Curling Kettle

After wearing out several kettles in the past 10 years, I was looking for something sturdy, well designed and safe. I wanted a seamless kettle with no lining (teflon or otherwise) and no plastic parts which come in contact with the water. This is it!
The kettle itself is seamless, which unfortunately isn't mentioned in Amazon's description. That was the selling point for me. Because the water reservoir is all one piece with no seams, you will not have the problem of the kettle eventually leaking around the base, which happened with my previous stainless steel one.
Also, with no teflon or nonstick lining, you will not be faced with the unpleasant eventuality of pouring out little black flecks along with your boiling water. This happened with my Paula Deen kettle, even though I had never used anything more abrasive than a paper towel to clean the inside. Very good product for the price. Ample base diameter lets gas range setting of high without over heating handle. Boils quick, and immediately at boil, the whistle sounds loudly. Top opening is large for easy filling and easy washing of kettle's interior. Creative engineering touch assures fill lid does not come loose during pouring. Unitized body is high quality stainless and workmanship. Looks great on stove top and performs accordingly.

Its a beautiful chrome, balance is perfect, easy to pour would definitely recommend this product. Heats very quickly. Easy to clean.
