I like this kettle very much. Quite resistant. I left it a couple of times in the stove until water evaporated completely and it has no damage. Very high quality material. The handle stays cool even when the container is full of boiling water. Highly reccomend it.

I just got this kettle for Christmas and I was so excited. I'm a big Le Creuset fan. This morning I put it on my stove top for some tea and the bottom of the handle MELTED! WTF?! I am not sure if it's a faux Le Creuset or why this happened but I am very upset and about to return it, as well as write Le Creuset to inquire about this problem.

This is a good teakettle. It is built very well and my wife loves it especially the color. It makes a great addition to our kitchen and we use it almost every day.
