I especially love that when you need to reheat tea, you can put it in the microwave and just the tea gets hot and not the pot (because of the low lead content of the ceramic they use)! Colors slightly off, my cobalt blue looks more purple to me. Spout is a bit hard to pour with so it doesn't drip. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Le Creuset Stoneware 1 -Quart Classic Teapot, Cobalt Blue (Kitchen) Expect tea leaves in your cup because holes in the strainer allow all but the largest tea leaves to fall through into the teapot. I've also found it impossible to pour tea without dumping half of it on the counter. I was skeptical of this teapot prior to my purchase; however, I found it at 50% off in a local shop and had been very happy with other Le Creuset products. This product is not worth the counter space it occupies. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Le Creuset Stoneware 1 -Quart Classic Teapot, Cobalt Blue (Kitchen) This pot holds a lot of tea, hurray! And it is great. I make tea in the morning and want it hot...but later in the day I usually prefer Ice tea. I can make and have hot tea in the morning and then put the entire pot into my refridgerator and at lunch I can have iced cold tea! It is perfect. The color is more of a 'forget-me-not' blue rather than a cobalt, but it is still super pretty. The only thing I can think of to make this teapot better would be if it came with a nice mesh strainer so that I could do loose tea without a hassle, however, I have several of them so it isn't a problem that it doesn't. I love this teapot. And it doesn't make a mess when you pour it, it just gracefully arches into the cup...I love that it doesn't drip everywhere like some teapots! |
