Made of extremely high-fired stoneware that is coated with hard enamel (available in a range of colors), the durable platter is virtually non-porous and resists chipping, cracking, scratching, and staining. Le Creuset stoneware can be taken out of the freezer, placed in a microwave, an oven up to 500 degrees F, or even under a broiler, and then taken to the table for an elegant presentation.
