I received this tea kettle yesterday, and so far I am pleased with it. The blue color on the kettle matches the color in the picture quite well, but it is more shiny than in the picture.
The handle stays cool after the water boils, so there is no need to use a potholder or towel to pour it. The cap on the spout snaps open and closed nicely, and it definitely whistles when boiling.
I was quite surprised to see a sticker on the box stating that this tea kettle was made in Spain. I was expecting to find that it was made in China like just about everything else we buy in America. There was a little leaflet inside the box which I presume gives some tips for using and cleaning the tea kettle, but I guess I'll never know for sure as the whole thing is written in Spanish.
The only downside I could find is that the metal is a bit on the thin side. I have a Farberware tea kettle that I've owned for at least 20 years, and the weight of the Magefesa is about...Read more

This does not whistle at all. It can only be heated on medium heat according to it's user's guide. It's a cheap piece of crap. Might as well heat the water for my tea in a pot.
