Comment: I purchased this item for my wife as a last minute gift for christmas.When I recieved it it had a dent in the side .Over all it is a quality kettle looks just like william sonoma. I wanted to return it but my wife wanted to keep it and not wait for another one and go through the return process.other than that it is a good kettle

Comment: This is a beautiful tea kettle. I love the large capacity, and the whistle sounds nice. I did have to remove the lacquer by boiling the whole teakettle in a large pot of water, and the instructions on how to do so were not included with the product, so I had to look it up on the internet. Overall, I'm very happy with the teakettle.

Comment: This item was less than half what I had seen on some other web sites. I have a set of copper Old Dutch mixing bowls and they are high quality, so I was expecting the best from this purchase. The item is ok, it is certainly nice to look at, if all you want is a decorative item. However, if you plan on actually using it, be careful because it will ding very easily, the metal is exceptionally thin, and the whistle is barely audible unless your standing in the kitchen. Again, a very pretty item, but better left for decoration.
