Old Mountain 10129 Pre-Seasoned 2-Quart Cast Iron Tea Kettle

A good kettle for adding humidity to the air on top of a woodstove. Do not buy this for drinking (tea, etc...) it was not made for that; it develops an interior rust crust after about a week. I would buy this again for my woodstove.

This was a good buy for us. We live in Wisconsin and have a woodburning stove in our house. The kettle makes a noticeable difference and makes the air less dry. It also looks nice because it matches our black stove.

I guess the inside is not treated because it rusts pretty badly. The outside, however, stays nice and black. Also, it is pretty heavy to move so we have been taking a cup of water TO the stove to fill the kettle, instead of bringing the kettle to the sink.
