Unfortunately, this kettle was a disappointment. It is very light weight, took 12 minutes to heat the water to boiling (following the manufacturers directions), and worst of all the whistle was so soft I couldn't hear it! Needless to say it was returned. The a full pot boils within 10 minutes--less for a partially filled pot. I can hear the whistle even when I'm upstairs. It sits nice and flat (my old one warped on bottom), and it cleans very easily, too. I couldn't be happier with this kettle. |
