OXO Good Grips Click Click Tea Kettle, White

I gave this tea kettle to my daughter for Christmas and she tells me that it is easy to fill and clean. The trigger mechanicism works easily. It is lightweight but sturdy. The tea kettle now lives in New Jersey where it is making lots of tea to help keep my daughter warm throughout the winter.

OXO occasionally misses, but not this time. Unlike many other "names" these days who have down-graded their products in quality, durability and engineering while preserving a slick look (think Braun and Cuisinart), this item is first rate: heavy-duty, you won't burn your hands, and it really whistles -- if you care. A tea-kettle should be idiot simple, right? Just try some of the junk being sold. If there are minor quibbles with the OXO Click Click, I would say it could be slightly larger and somewhat easier to fill without removing the top.

This kettle's just the right size for multiple people to use. It'll fill three large mugs while still not being too heavy. Also, the inside's very easy to wipe out. Just another great Oxo product.
