This tea kettle is great! Only thing to remember is not to go over medium heat as the kettle will crack

I bought this tea kettle because it would look so nice in my kitchen. I am sorry that I did not study the description more closely. This tea kettle does not have a whistle. There have been times I have put on water for tea and have forgotten about it. Pretty dangerous.
