We received these dishes for our wedding (set of 8) six months ago and we really like them. I was surprised with how large the mugs and bowls are. The only thing I notice is that because they are white plates, you can see little scratches on them from where you have been cutting your food or where the fork scrapes against the bowl/plate, etc. This probably happens to most plates over time...it is barely noticeable. Some of the dishes have been chipped in the past 3 years, but we could order a replacement from Amazon. All in all, I'm impressed with the quality of these plates, and the texture is really cool. The grooved part is great for holding condiments or something you don't want running onto the rest of your food.

I bought 8 sets of this dinnerware (can't complain about the price and free shipping!) but was shocked to see how large all the pieces are. The dinner plate barely clears my dishwashing rack. The main problem is however, that several salad plates began getting cracking in the glaze--don't know how else to describe it. Almost like they were very old. I will return these for that reason. Bummers, otherwise, they are very nice (but BIG!)
