Comment: This kettle is thinly made and can dent easily. The first sign of trouble was when the paper inside said it may rust but its supposed to be made of stainless steel. It says to drain every time. I've used kettles for years and am really unhappy with this one. It doesn't match the picture/description quality that urged me to purchase it.

Comment: Yes cheap is the word. Cehap plastic everywhere. The bottom does not rest flat on the range so it is only suitable for gas or coil electrics. Does say this anywhere in the description.

Comment: I've read on another sites, reviews that it doesn't whistle, another said rust in two days. Hey for $19 and free shipping it's hard to beat. Works great, looks great and whistles like a steam engine. It's instructions, as in most kettles say, don't leave water in them, but I do and it hasn't shown any indication of rust. So far so good, I recommend this kettle.
