Primula Cast Iron 40-Ounce Tea Pot, Black with Tea Sample

This is a very nice looking teapot. The price is much better than from other places. But it seems that it rusts much quicker than my other cast iron teapots. So I have to dry it thoroughly. But when I rub it dry black paint is coming off. This is a pot I wanted to use all the time but now use only every now and then. I don't really regret buying it but wouldn't buy it again.

This pot is fantastic and I am fussy. Easy to maintain, just water and wiping right after use. The strainer is superbly easy to rinse out and let air dry whilst I am having my tea. Furthermore, the pot keeps the tea hot for much longer than anticipated - enough time for 3 leisurely cups. I purchased the matching trivot separately and the Hampstead Organic Fairtrade Oolong Loose Leaf Tea (double box pack) here on Amazon - both of which I highly recommend. (Note: the small packet of loose leaf inside the box looks chintzy for the price but 2 T is not much for an entire pot and does the trick!) I feel like I got the better end of the bargain as this pot (and trivot) are quite heavy, so free shipping was a bunus that could not be bested anywhere. Honestly, folks, worth every penny and then some.

Had been searching for this type of tea pot for family member for Christmas and wanted a larger one. Saw this on Amazon and decided to order. Came quickly and in perfect condition! So glad I found this larger size--- can brew FEW cups of tea at a time. Almost kept it for myself! Would recommend this one!
