I purchased the electric kettle from my son-in-law's list more than a year ago. He is in the military and first used it at work to make tea and to make soup for his lunch. Then he took it with him through EOD training and then on to Afghanistan for a 6 month deployment there. It came back home with him in October and he's still using it at his shop on base. One of the best gifts he's ever received, according to him and I'm pleased that it's held up and been of such benefit to him.
