I got this kettle to use at work for a great price. Its capacity is larger than the previous kettle of the same brand that we had and it boils water much faster. The styling is very 1980s sci-fi movie but not a problem for the bargain I got it for. HOWEVER ... the spout on this kettle is terribly designed, unless you are exceedingly careful pouring this kettle you will splash boiling water everywhere! This is literally a safety hazard, stay away from this kettle despite the bargain price.

k4987y kettle was all I expected it to be. Fast . Convenient. Easy to use and very reasonably priced. Would purchase another. Pructor-silex Electric Kettle
