Summary: Nice Kettle 2010-03-08
Comment: The Kettle is bright colored and fun to look at, obviously. Inside, water boils quickly. The handle can heat up if you don't remove it from the flame once the water has boiled, but it cools fast if you forget. It's sturdy, reliable, and will last for years.

The minor downside to the kettle is that it doesn't whistle. I have a quiet apartment, so I can 'hear' the water boiling inside from the other room. But I'm not sure someone with hearing issues or a loud lifestyle would be able to know if the water was boiling otherwise. If it whistled, it'd be perfect.
Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: Really pleased 2010-02-20
Comment: I bought this tea kettle because it did not whistle. Its very hard to find a tea kettle that does not. I have been nothing but happy with it since. Its the perfect size for me and looks great in my kitchen.

Summary: Does what it should. 2010-02-06
Comment: Work fine and looks nice. The lid is hard to take off when the kettle is hot and the metal expands. The handle is plastic and is tight enough it doesn't fall over keeping it from getting hot.

Comment: This teakettle will last you a long time when cared for correctly.
Helpful Tips
1. When using a gas stove use a low to medium flame and make sure the handle is in the up right position.
2. Do not allow the teakettle to be boiled dry. Without liquids in the kettle the heat is absorbed into the teakettle which will expand the metal and break the porcelain finish. Do not over fill.
3. This model does not come with a whistler, please see other models in the same line that do come with this feature
4. Do not leave this the teakettle unattended while in use
5. Turn the lid so that the notch is opposite the spout. This will help keep the lid on during pouring. However, you will need to use the knob while pouring to ensure the lid stays on. (Just like a traditional tea kettle style)
6. Wash out the teakettle from time to time with non-abrasive cleaner to rinse out left over sediments from water.

Summary: COMBUSTABLE TEAPOT!!! 2010-01-31
Comment: About a year ago I bought your orange tea pot. Yesterday I was making a pot of tea and went to use the restroom. When I came back to the kitchen, my tea pot was on fire. After I put out the flames, i opened the tea pot to see that it still was full of water. The paint itself had set on fire. The tea pot was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. I was lucky my kitchen didn't set on fire. Thankfully nothing was harmed but the tea pot. Selling these items is both dangerous and irresponsible. Feel free to contact me.
