Summary: Looks nice but that's about it 2010-06-25
Comment: This is not a good teakettle if you need one to use every morning. The inside of the lid on mine started rusting within two days. The lid is also very difficult to put in, causing the paint to chip off into the water, and then causing more rusting. Unless you want to use it for decoration, do not get this one.

Summary: Cute and functional! 2010-06-24
Comment: This tea kettle is perfect for me. I like its rounded shape, its size and its porcelain-covered interior. I have used it three or four times per week over the last month, and so far it serves me very well. It is best to use a potholder when pouring, but that is a normal precaution. I didn't understand why the blue one is priced a little lower than the other colors, but blue works okay for me, and I liked the price.

Summary: Adorable teapot 2010-04-29
Comment: The capacity below the spout is slightly less than I would have liked, it will gladly boil out of the spout if you let it. The handle is plain plastic and will heat up uncomfortably if left on the stove for much longer than absolutely necessary. It cleans easily, looks very nice left out on the stove top, and boils water quickly. Works nicely on my gas range, no scorch marks to the finish with daily use for a month. Don't get athletic when you pour your water, the shape of it requires you pour very gently or it will spill out of the lid; the lid is not on tightly but will not fall off thanks to a small nub that keeps it clicked in. Really overall a nice little teapot and worth the great price here on Amazon.

Summary: Extremely cheap, enamel flakes off 2010-04-28
Comment: I was getting a bit tired of boiling water in a pot, so I decided to buy this kettle. The price was right, it looked cute, and the ratings were good overall. Perhaps I got a dud, but the very moment I took it out of the box, a large chunk of the enamel fell off from the handle. And smaller chunks fell off as I tried to inspect the rest of it. Needless to say, I'm sending it back.

Summary: Impressive little tea kettle! 2010-03-30
Comment: I am very impressed with the heavy metal construction of this tea kettle, and its thick enamel coating. Even the inside is well finished. With a little care it should last just about forever.
It looks great sitting on the stove and gets many positive comments.
Well worth the cost. Well worth the purchase. I am absolutely delighted!
