Amazon.com Review

The heart of this nine-piece collection from Revere lies in the copper disk that forms the base of each pan. Proven to be an excellent conductor of heat, copper enables rapid and even heat distribution; this allows the home chef to get dinner on the table more quickly without unsavory burns. Bell-shaped bodies constructed of 18/10 stainless steel not only carry an attractive shine but also hold up to daily use. Tube handles finish with a loop for hanging storage but don't resist heat and thus require the use of potholders. Tempered glass lids allow for food monitoring but should not be placed in the oven. The 9-piece set consists of: 7- and 9-inch fry pans; 1-, 1-1/2-, and 2-quart saucepans with lids; and a 6-quart stockpot with accompanying cover. With a 25 year limited warranty added to the mix, this ensemble makes a reliable first cookware set and would be a welcome gift for any new homeowner. -- Amy Arnold

The sizes listed are not the actual sizes that come with this set. Firstly, the description says that there are 3 saucepans and there are only 2 - but if you looked at the picture and counted the pieces you would have noticed that. The actual sizes are a 1½ qt saucepan, a 2½ qt saucepan, a 5½ stockpot, an 8in skillet/frypan and a 10in skillet/frypan. Other than that little discrepancy, they are GREAT pans!

I bought these to be able to get rid of my teflon pans. I am very happy so far. Of course, they are not stick-free, and the residue from cooking is sometimes a challenge to remove, but then I knew that would be the case going in.

They heat evenly and they are nice looking, which is a plus in a tiny apt. kitchen with little storage space. I also like that the lids have a vent--no boiling over from pressure building up!

The items arrived in amzing time and condition. Almost too beautiful to use! I was a little concerned when the bottoms turned black after first use, but with a little vinegar and salt, the copper was restored to almost-new.
