I received the tea kettle as a gift and used for about 8 months when I realized that some parts of the interior seem to have been corroded. I only used it to boil water. At first I thought some dirt have fallen in, but it was definitely corrosion when I touched it. I have no idea if the corrosion is toxic or not. I have totally lost my trust in Oxo.
