This water heater, which is made in Japan, is slick in design. Although it holds 5 liters of water, it doesn't take as much counter-top space as I expected. It is quiet and efficient. I can choose from three temperature settings that are designed for making tea or cooking instant noodle. I especially like the 6 or 9 hours "sleep timer", which is one of the reason that I purchase this product.

The only thing I wish it would have is a stainless steel interior, but I would still give it a five-star rating.

I purchased my first Tiger hot water dispenser in 1996, at the PX, at Camp Casey, Korea. I have never been withoug a Tiger hot water dispenser since. This model has worked excellent for 4 years now. Absolutely, positively no problems. It's great for a quick cup of instant soup, coffee, or hot chocolate. I never have to wait for room temperature water to come to a boil for cooking. Instead of me waiting for the water to come to a boil...my hot water is ready for me.
